This is for Sarah on :iconevertide-song: and her story. It was a optional project and could possibly be published. Her story is here; [link] and I was asked to make a cover for it! so tada! I think I did well, but the burring is a bit much :/

I like the pose Jayraek is in, and how she also seems to be cautiously checking behind her, while, at the same time, she looks calm. Tahira, in the background, was very nicely done, and it is clear that she is a phoenix. The other-worldly blue glow behind Jay makes her look very capable of controlling the power she posesses, and the light behind the title makes it really pop. The dark sky background, from my view, translates into how some of the book is sort of dark and foreboding. It reflects exactly the setting I had in mind. Thank you!
